Doing what it's supposed to do!
After trying many different products to help with my newborns red hiney, I tried booty love as it was recommended to us by a friend. It worked very quickly to eliminate any redness on my babies hiney and it is cloth diaper approved. Great product!!
This was recommended to me by a sales associate as a cloth diaper safe balm for my newborn. It is reasonably priced and lasts a long time. I like how it melts in your hand and is easily applied. I have not noticed any residue in my diapers. It's a great preventative product, and has worked well for minor or beginning rashes. I did not find it to be as effective as Desitin (which I of course used with disposables), for bad rashes, but it's still a great product
I bought this as my first diaper cream after making the mistake of buying cheap China bamboo inserts :/. One jar will probably last us a while because you don't need much. It took DS a couple of days to heal but we also let him take a couple of naked naps so I'm not sure how much is attributed to the cream.
I've been using this on my baby for almost 5 months as needed. At times we have problems with her chubby little thighs getting a bit rough from clothing/friction/diapers, and it really softens and protects her skin. Recently despite my best efforts to keep her nails short she has been trying to grab at her diaper area while I am changing her and scratches from time to time. I think that this really helps those heal quickly. I've used this more regularly over time as I've noticed it helps keep her sensitive (easily reddened/irritated) skin looking clear. I especially recommend if you have a baby that tends to have sensitive skin. (I have not compared to coconut oil, b/c I really like this product.) In 4 months of regular use I still have over half the jar left.
