No doubt, Fall is my favorite season. The cooler temperatures are such a relief after the hot summers. I love the warm fall colors. The leaves (at least here in North Carolina) are gorgeous. I took these amazing foliage photos at Stone Mountain, NC when I took my fourth graders on a field trip there. After growing up in Houston, I feel like these scenes are something out of a storybook!
There’s just something different about the air in the falltime. It’s hot coffee and pumpkins and squash and football and amazing sweaters.
And fun festivals! We are celebrating Fall on Saturday, October 26 at Sweetbottoms. Make plans to spend the day hanging out with us. We will have lots of fall fun, demos, raffles, and local vendors. (There might even be some in-store specials- wink, wink.) It’s going to be great! Did you come last year? I was working in the store and it was a busy, busy day. I didn’t get to enjoy the activities outside, but I will try to make it this year since my son is a little older.
If you stop by the store anytime Monday through Friday of next week, you will earn raffle tickets. You’ll be able to put your tickets in the bowls for the items of your choosing. You can also earn more tickets on the day of the Festival. Winners will be announced Sunday, October 27 on Facebook.
